Pictures or flashcards of famous inventions (wheel, telephone, light bulb, airplane, computer, smartphone, etc.)

Poster paper, markers, or digital presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)

Worksheet with invention vocabulary and questions
Session 1: Introduction & Vocabulary
Warm-up (10 min)
-
Show pictures of famous inventions.

Ask: “What is this?” “Who invented it?” “When was it invented?”
-
Write down student answers and introduce new vocabulary: invention, inventor, to invent, useful, creative, improve, problem, solution, etc.
Vocabulary Activity (15 min)
-
Match inventions to their descriptions or inventors.
-
Practice pronunciation of key words.
Discussion (10 min)

Pair students and ask: “What is your favorite invention?” “Why is it important?” “How does it help people?”
Project Introduction (10 min)

Explain the project: Students will create their own invention.

They will decide what problem it solves, how it works, and present it to the class.
Session 2: Planning the Invention
Brainstorming (15 min)

In small groups (3-4 students), brainstorm problems people have.

Choose one problem to solve with an invention.
Planning (20 min)
